Trimble Recon

The Trimble Recon handheld computer adds new capabilities to help you do more in the field. Lightweight and extremely rugged, the Trimble Recon features an Intel XScale processor, a long life 3800 mAh battery, and a daylight readable display. Optional Bluetooth and 802.11 wireless technologies allow cable-free access to peripheral devices and connection to local area networks and the Internet. Two user-accessible CF slots provide expansion for additional storage and peripheral devices.

It features a touchscreen display with LED frontlight for easier viewing in certain lighting situations. The Trimble Recon handheld PC's are MIL-STD 810F and IP67 compliant. The MIL-STD 810F ratings apply to temperature shock, humidity, water, drop, sand, dust, vibration, and altitude. The IP67 ratings apply to water, sand, and dust.
