The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-E1 handheld weighs less than one pound, and is designed to MIL-STD-810G and IP65/IP68 specifications to protect against environmental conditions and accidental situations, such as bumps, drops, or exposure to wind, heat, and rain.

The rugged Toughpad FZ-E1 runs the Windows 8.1 operating system and is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB of on-board storage. It also offers a complete range of embedded wireless options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, and optional 4G LTE multi carrier mobile broadband to help users stay connected while in the field.

The Toughpad FZ-E1 rugged handheld tablet features a high-definition, daylight-viewable display. Its 10-point multi-touch display supports gloved touch and gestures, and input from a capacitive stylus pen. Other features include an integrated front webcam, an 8MP rear camera, and a hot-swappable battery that can accommodate a full day of work. It features a quad-core Qualcomm processor running at 1.7GHz, 2GB memory, and 32GB of on-board storage.
