The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-E1 handheld weighs less than one pound, and is designed to MIL-STD-810G and IP65/IP68 specifications to protect against environmental conditions and accidental situations, such as bumps, drops, or exposure to wind, heat, and rain. In fact, even in the pouring rain, have no fear, the FZ-E1 rugged handheld has a special rain-sensing feature that allows for single use even when caught in a torrential downpour!

The rugged Toughpad FZ-E1 runs the Windows 8.1 operating system and is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB of on-board storage. It also offers a complete range of embedded wireless options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, and optional 4G LTE multi carrier mobile broadband to help users stay connected while in the field.

The Toughpad FZ-E1 rugged handheld tablet features a high-definition, daylight-viewable display. Its 10-point multi-touch display supports gloved touch and gestures, and input from a capacitive stylus pen. Other features include an integrated front webcam, an 8MP rear camera, and a hot-swappable battery that can accommodate a full day of work. A heavy duty 6200mAh battery provides up to 14 hours of continuous use, and a quick charging feature which allows for 50% battery charge in just one hour!  Customized options include integrated barcode reader, magstripe reader, and certified ANSI 12.12.01 for hazardous locations. The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-X1 brings together the best of handheld, smartphone and barcode reader functionality into a single rugged and hard working 5"  tablet. 
 
The Toughpad FZ-X1 handheld tablet is powered by the flexible, secure Android 4.2.2 operating system. It features a quad-core Qualcomm processor running at 1.7GHz, 2GB memory, and 32GB of on-board storage. It offers a complete range of embedded wireless options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, NFC, and optional 4G LTE mobile broadband to help users stay connected while in the field. The integrated high accuracy GPS is ideal for field workers that require navigation in vehicles and pin-point location capabilities. The rugged FZ-X1 handheld has four buttons that can be customized for functions such as taking pictures, scanning items, push-to-talk capabilities or dialing specific numbers.
