Core™ i7 vPro™ processor and optimized for mobility, the 12.5" R12 is also
ideal for a desktop replacement.
The Motion R12 weighs just
under 3 pounds and is MIL-STD-810G and IP54 certified, making it rugged enough
to withstand 4-foot drops, bumps, dust, spills, and temperature extremes. The
tablet's display features Motion's View Anywhere® technology for advanced
outdoor visibility, and break-resistant Gorilla™ Glass to make the device
suitable for rugged environments.
The Motion R12 features Intel™ Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 Wi-Fi
and Bluetooth® 4.0, integrated fingerprint reader, rear-facing and front-facing
cameras, and dual hot-swappable batteries. Integrated options for the R12
include GPS, 4G LTE mobile broadband, and enhanced memory and system storage
options.
The Motion R12 SlateMate
is a 3-in-1 factory installed personality module consisting of a barcode
scanner, high frequency RFID, and serial port. This add-on module expands the
productive power of the R12 while maintaining the same level of ruggedness and
portability. The lightweight data acquisition module eliminates the need for
multiple data collection devices and increases the accuracy of field data
collection. The R12-Series SlateMate integrates with the R12-Series accessory
family. It is designed to work with the R12-Series Work Anywhere Kit carrying
case, the docking station and the Mobile Secure Dock, when attached.
The R12-Series SlateMate
comes with either a 3-in-1 module (barcode scanner, high frequency RFID, and
serial port) or a 2-in-1 module (high frequency RFID, and serial port)
configuration.
